Dear Dad Day 11...Use Me

Dear Dad,
Good morning, this is the day that You have made. As I woke up this morning I wondered “what would my father want me to do today?” I was curious about the people I would interact with and what You wanted me to say to them? The places You would have me to go, and what You wanted me to do there? I guess I woke up with the realization that I live and breathe because of You, in addition to understanding that I do this (live life) for You. I am amazed at all You have done for me - today alone You have already done enough. You woke me up, and I was able to think clearly, I wasn’t startled with any sickness or pain and I can move my body and my lips ; this proves to me that there is still things left for me to do. Allow me to be a positive example to those I come across today, that I may spread the love of Jesus as I interact with Your people. That I obey my responsibility in relationships, that I think before I speak and confide in You to direct my next step. I take honor in pleasing You and following Your instructions today. Use me!!

⁹Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. ¹³ When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.¹⁴ Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. ¹⁵ Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. ¹⁶ Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
