Daddy Show Me The Way...Dear Dad Day 25

Dear Dad,
Today I acknowledge the fact that at times I am impatient. I understand that You have the perfect plan for me but at times its difficult to fully grasp that. You hold everything together for me. Every detail of my life is already planned out and those details are just right. Help me not to get deterred based upon my own thinking, what is going on around me, and the negative voice that randomly creeps in my head. Allow me to stand firm on Your promises, not wavering in my choices, beliefs, and determination. This is only the beginning and the places we will go are endless. Thank You for caring about me enough to ensure the best possible future.
Always Trusting In Your Plan
Kristen

Totally In This Love Thang...Dear Dad Day 24

Dear Dad,
Once again I woke up with You on the brain. I hear You talking to me, even in my sleep, calling me into another place in You. Help me to truly live out my purpose daily. Help me to focus on being faithful to You, and trusting in our relationship to get me through. I submit my will to Yours realizing that this decision will help structure so many others aspects of my life. Protect my mind, my intentions, my thoughts, and my actions so they are pleasing to You. I am truly loving this love thang we got going on! Getting prepared for another fantastic day; no glitz, no glam, just God.

21“Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. 22 Listen to his instructions, and store them in your heart. 23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored— so clean up your life. 24 If you give up your lust for money and throw your precious gold into the river, 25 the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver! 26 “Then you will take delight in the Almighty and look up to God. 27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him. 28 You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you

Dear Dad Day 22... Benefits of Great People

Dear Dad,
Its Monday and I’m super motivated. I am excited about all that is to come this week. I have learned that the more time I spend with You the less time I’m worried, anxious, frustrated, scared and the list goes on. Thank You for positive people in my life that are available to provide what’s needed when my fuel gets low. Because You placed these special people in my life I am able to benefit from great relationships with friends and family. This week I want to pray a special blessing for all of the people who are on the journey with me and who have blessed my life in a major way. Be it through their own ambition to complete their goals, their self motivation to keep pushing even through tough times, kind words spoken that wasn’t meant to bless me, but they did, strength to be phenomenal single parents, thoughtfulness to pray for me, our community, and anything else that isn’t self gratifying…I could go on and on, bragging about the wonderful people placed in my life and I am thankful for them. Put Your shield around us this week that we succeed and not fail, grow and not remain the same, and continue to bless others just as You have blessed us.
In Your name I ask everything,
Kristen

Word on the Go: Proverbs 18: 20-24 (NLT)
20Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction.21 The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. 22 The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.23 The poor plead for mercy; the rich answer with insults.24 There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.

Why I Need My Daddy....Day 21

Dear Dad,
Ahh someday’s things are heavier than others, but I praise You still. Help me to hold onto Your promises and word as I face the many obstacles in my way. Allow me to think beyond myself, how I feel, and what I desires and focus on YOU, what You said, how You feel, and what You desire. I understand that Your plan may requires something of me, and I choose to become intune with Your requirements. Sometimes it’s giving up things I like, choosing to be isolate, ignoring the demands or requests of man, and/or developing tunnel vision, not being swayed or strayed by the perceived success and blessings of others. Your ultimate plan for my life is beyond anything that I can imagine. As I walk in faith today, I call things that be not as though they were, I look to the mountains in my way and demand them to move, and I lay all my burdens at Your feet and confidently walk away knowing God’s got my back. I thank You for being the greatest dad, provider, supporter, and visionary I know. Hold me close to You today, I need thee.

Lost w/out You,
Kristen

Word on the Go: 1 Corinthians 1: 7-9 (NLT)
7Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. 8 He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. 9 God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. 12 Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.13 “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!

Time for the Tests...Dear Dad Day 19

Dear Dad,
We have reached another Friday safely, blessed, and with a sound mind. This week I learned that tests are real. I am growing to appreciate Your tests and study to pass them. It seems like this , life’s pop quizzes were at an all time high. I have never experienced so many circumstances that test my character in such a short amount of time in my entire life. In all actuality I probably have, but my relationship with You was not clear enough for me to recognize it, so I guess I failed those test. But now I can stand confidently, able to recognize tests, and live with a determination to do whatever is necessary to pass them. Thank You for the plans You have for me, the plan to strengthen my character, draw me nearer to You, and mature me so that I am effective in my personal life, home, and in the world. This weekend is about to be a blast!!! Thank You Lord.
Love you more and more,
Kristen

Word on the Go: James 1:2-4
2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Thank You For Growth Dear Dad Day 18

Dear Dad,
Thank You for growth and maturity. I am so happy with the person I am evolving into, and I look forward to the positive change and growth that is to come. This journey with You has truly been an out of body experience where I’m able to analyze the direction of my life, assess all persons, things, etc that have or has had influence over me, continuously growing tremendously in my relationship with You, and lastly figuring out what’s important in life an making that my focal point. I understand that I am not perfect but I earnest strive towards Your perfection daily. In addition to my personal growth, I have had the pleasure of watching some of my close friends and family members grow as well. My oldest niece has graduated high school and is currently visiting in Spain before her transition to my Alma Mater lol. My beautiful cousin is preparing for her visit to Korea, getting an opportunity to leave her mark on Your world, while another cousin visited France, Pairs, and London just a few weeks ago. All of these endeavors are an opportune time to experience growth. I am thankful that my family and I are afforded the opportunity to view your handiwork culturally and grow spiritually, in our thought process, and in our character from all of the blessing and revelations afforded to us through our life experiences. I love you God, I love my family & friends, and lastly I can truly say I love myself.
Kristen
Word on the Go: Philippians 3:12-15
12 I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[d] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. 15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. 16 But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.

Dear Dad Day 17...Continue To Cover Me

Dear Dad,
I am still excited from the success of yesterday. I am overwhelmed by Your visions and Your call on my life. As I go about my day today allow my words, actions, and thoughts to be balanced in You. Give me strength to endure the rain and courage to move forward. Guide my footsteps, guide my thoughts, and use me in every way, for I am open and available to you. I am vulnerable to Your will and I earnestly live for You. Bless and protect everyone in my circle; I pray a special blessing over my family and friends, their lives, their relationships, jobs, children, marriages, businesses, and relationship with You. Additionally, I pray for my enemies, I pray for their revelation of You, I pray for their protection, and their heart. I know You are able to do all things, and I believe You will do just that. Every burden, care, worry, or frustration I lay them at Your feet and walk away holding Your peace, glory, and blessings in my heart. I absolutely love You; purely, with my whole heart, and with all my trust. Thank You for this day.

Kristen
Word on the Go: 1 Peter 5: 6-11 (NLT)
6So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. 7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are. 10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. 11 All power to him forever! Amen.

Dear Dad Day 15....You Are My Stregnth

Dear Dad,
Good morning, it is Monday the beginning of a great week. Thank You for a marvelous weekend, as I look forward to a productive Monday. Rejuvenate not only myself but my family and friends with the energy, power, and wisdom that we need to accomplish all that You require of us this week. Allow us to work and serve others as if we were working and serving You, with our undivided attention, genuine care, and whole hearts. I worship You because You are worthy of all praise. Your protection and guidance have safeguarded me from many hardships physically and mentally; not only for my life but for the lives of those close to me as well. Allow me to be secure in who I am, realizing that I am prompted to be better according to Your standards, not my own or my peers. Give me tunnel vision; that I may fulfill the desires that You have for my life with great joy and compassion. Fill me with the fruits of the spirit today in my actions, words, and thoughts. Allow me to be super productive for the kingdom, especially in my thinking. I love You because You alone are able to give me the BOOST. I speak greatness over today for everyone I know and the readers of this blog. In Your Name I ask ALL things……
Love You,
Kristen

Dear Dad Day 16...New Season

Dear Dad,
For me today marks a day of newness. With anything new there is a plethora of emotions that goes forth: excitement, fear, eagerness, joy, anxiety to name a few. With newness there are also times of trial and error, moments of curiosity when genuinely trying to understand that which is unknown, great strides taken, many setbacks, a testing of faith, and an opportunity to build trust, allowing others to see Your influence in my life. Currently I am excited, nervous, a little scared, and ever thankful for ALL that You’re doing for me. As I look back over the lives of anyone who is deemed great, I think back to the start of their newness. When Noah built the ark, there was a day when he first started the project. A day when he had an abundance of stacked wood, a pile of nails mountain high, several hammers, and I would add a first aid kit (or something relevant in that era). When I take a more modernized look at great people of today; Pastor Jentenzen Franklin, TV host and entrepreneur: Oprah, Movie producer and Actor: Tyler Perry , Fashion Designer: Tom Ford, and Soul Chef: Paula Deen I am excited about their now, but I am more awestruck with their season of new. The time when You first birthed a vision in them, the time when they first started out, when things looked bleak and confusing, when they had very few supporters, and the time when they were scared but determined to see vision come to pass. Today I stand in the light of Your vision, I undoubtedly submit my will to Yours, carefully listen to Your promoting, and close my eyes, stepping on the path of faith as I watch You unveil this new season right before my very eyes. I trust You Lord and I am excited to be apart of Your blood line. Oh the places we will go.
Thank You,
Kristen

Word on the Go: Psalms 40:1-5 (NLT)
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3 He has given me a NEW song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. 4 Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. 5 O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.

Happy Father's Day...Dear Dad Day 14

Dear Dad,
I am so excited that today is Father’s Day. For a little girl who grew up without a father in the home I am honored, as an adult, to be in the mist of great fathers daily. I commend every man who has taken their leadership role, by first disciplining themselves to put family before their needs, committing themselves to the call of fatherhood, and whose determination is to see their children succeed as a result of their guidance. I am so proud of every father, including those I do not know, because they represent true men (whether they are saved or not), following in the footprints of my Father, Jesus Christ, and leaving a legacy that can be traced long after they are gone. For any father who is not saved I pray for him today, that he receives the wonderful gift You have afforded Him, that is available to provide that comfort he needs when things get tough; or Your perfect guidance when he needs help/support; and lastly the assurance he needs when he feels unappreciated. Thank You God for Your perfect plan, how You created the roles of men and women, how You designed men to be leaders and women to be supporters in the home. Today, I realize and appreciate Your perfect plan. Thank You Lord, for wonderful men all over the world who are celebrated today because of all they do. And on today, as I do every day, I celebrate You, for being the best father that any girl, woman, boy, or man could ask for. I love you.
Love you Mucho Gusto,
Kristen

Word on the Go: Matthew 6:9-14 (NLT)
9Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.10May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us today the food we need, 12and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.13And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one. 14“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.

Dear Dad...Mornings w/ You

Dear Dad,
It’s is a beautiful Saturday and I’m glad to have spent some time with You this morning. Thank You for being the perfect gentleman and extending Your unfailing love towards me. As I go about my day today, in the company of friends and family I pray that You protect us and allow us to have a great time enjoying one another’s company. Thank You for the unscheduled miracles You have set up for me today, and I thank You in advance for Your protection, grace, and mercy. I look forward to spending the day surrounded by You and truly having a wonderful Saturday. This weekend is already blessed; as we all enjoy this downtime before a productive workweek ahead of us.
Love you dearly,
Kristen

Word on the Go: Psalms 118: 23-25
23This is the LORD’s doing, and it is wonderful to see. 24 This is the day the LORD has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it. 25Please, LORD, please save us. Please, LORD, please give us success.

Help Me Believe...Dear Dad Day 12

Dear Dad,
I am so glad the weekend is here. I am thankful for everything that transpired this past week. I have learned a few things and I am working hard to overcome others. One thing I realized this week is that You hold it all together. Help me not to question You. I know that You know all things, because You are the orchestrator of it all. At times it’s difficult to believe that everything is working out for my good, when things seem soo bad around me but I continue to believe that You are bigger than any of my problems. Help me to hold onto the promise You have given me….. against all odds. I realize that our relationship is truly a faith walk, me trusting and believe totally in a God I have not seen. However I have evidence that our relationship is real based upon the many things You have done in my life. Allow me to think on those things when life seems tough, rough, or totally confusing. I have no idea what You are up to, but I know that You have my back.
Sincerely you daughter,
Kristen

Word on the Go: Romans 8:24-28
24We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. 25But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) 26And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groaning that cannot be expressed in words. 27And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Dear Dad...Thanks For Your Plans...Day 10

Dear Dad,
I am soo glad that You cover me. You protect me in times of trouble and no matter what You are always there. Allow me to receive Your goodness today, when things look bleak, help me to know that You are able to make all things clear. If I come to You, I am able to ask for whatever I want and You are faithful to provide that for me. Allow me to search Your heart and discover what I should ask of You; that my wants and desires line up with what You want for me. After all You are perfect and You know the plans for my life from beginning to end. I thank You for rescuing me from myself, from harm, from negativity, and from my emotions. I know that You are fighting my battles for me behind the scenes, and today You are going to do a mighty work in me, to bring me UP to Your standards, and OUT of chaos, confusion, and mess. Thank You for being a right now God. Deliver me, and set me up on Your path.
Amen
Kristen

Word on the Go: Isaiah 46:3-4; 8-10
3Listen to me, descendants of Jacob, all you who remain in Israel. I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. 4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.
8“Do not forget this! Keep it in mind! Remember this, you guilty ones. 9 Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. 10 Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.

Dear Dad Day 11...Use Me

Dear Dad,
Good morning, this is the day that You have made. As I woke up this morning I wondered “what would my father want me to do today?” I was curious about the people I would interact with and what You wanted me to say to them? The places You would have me to go, and what You wanted me to do there? I guess I woke up with the realization that I live and breathe because of You, in addition to understanding that I do this (live life) for You. I am amazed at all You have done for me - today alone You have already done enough. You woke me up, and I was able to think clearly, I wasn’t startled with any sickness or pain and I can move my body and my lips ; this proves to me that there is still things left for me to do. Allow me to be a positive example to those I come across today, that I may spread the love of Jesus as I interact with Your people. That I obey my responsibility in relationships, that I think before I speak and confide in You to direct my next step. I take honor in pleasing You and following Your instructions today. Use me!!
As I walk in my purpose today,
Kristen

Word on the Go: Romans 12: 9-16 (NLT)
9Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

Dear Dad I Follow You...Day 9

Dear Dad,
What a wonderful day You have created. Thank You for allowing me to enjoy all of Your goodness, and attention to detail as I hear the birds chipping and feel the sun rising. You are awesome. Lord help me to organize myself today. Organize my life according to Your instruction. Help me to organize beliefs, emotions, my schedule, conversations, and thoughts in such a way that I can hear Your voice clearly- ensuring that I am always doing what I am supposed to be doing. Father You are the absolute most important person to me, I put You above everything and everyone and I live to please You. You have proven Your faithfulness, love, and favor towards me every day; and that is reason enough to dedicate my life to You. I am eager to see what today holds, as I follow your voice.
Love You,

Dear Dad Sooo Dependable...Day 8

Dear Dad,
You are so freaking dependable. I mean seriously whenever I need You, You are there. All I have to do is start talking and You will listen, if I need validation You have provided me with a book that has everything in it I need. I love You so much for taking the time out of Your busy life to make sure that I am taken care of emotionally, physically, financially, and mentally. I don’t take that lightly, I give You unconditional praise for that. Help me to understand that You got this…You hold my future in Your hands. I am alive because of You, and everything that happens, good or bad, has been allowed by You and it all serves a purpose bigger than Me. I look forward to spending time this week getting to know You more. You are my beginning and my end, even my in between. That is why I love you so much. I can proudly say…I trust my daddy 100%. What a Weekend... Dear Dad Day 7

Dear Dad,
Daddy what a great weekend. OMG it was full of wholesome fun, supportive family & friends, and continuous celebration. I particularly like how You showed out on my behalf at IML’s event, I knew you would. Every detail went well, everything went according to plan, and we even had some unexpected surprises. Your faithfulness is so consistent and that means the world to me. No matter what, I can always count on You, and I seek Your wisdom as I face life’s demands. Thank You for listening to me, answering my prayers, and always being available. As I prepare for this week I expect You to show up and out concerning every area of my life. Gosh how I love You and I truly enjoy bragging on the relationship I have with my dad…..hopefully people I meet, & family members alike will want to learn more about You, especially since you’re so easy to get to. I’m sure we will chat before I go to sleep.....love u, ttyl!

Trust You Dad....Dear Dad Day 6

Dear Dad,
Today it’s all about trusting You. When we face the unknown it’s easy to get discouraged, scared, and even timid to continue to do what You have called us to do. I realize that results may not turn out the way I want them to, but most importantly I do understand that Your intentional plan for my life is the ABSOLUTE best. Having faith is believing what I cannot see and today I put 100% faith in You and profess credence that Your perfect Will will be done. You are awesome, and more than any girl could ask for. You have never left me alone, or abandoned me, and for that I give You the glory, honor, and respect you deserve. Your are awesome.

Dear Dad...Family, Friends, & Employment..Day 5

Dear Dad,
I love you soo much. You are so faithful, not only in my life but in the life of my friends & family. You are the ruler of employment, thank you God for my friends & family who have jobs, are looking for jobs, or about to leave or be let go from a job. I pray that all my family & friends have the privilege of recognizing their purpose TODAY, and immediately begin working for You to fulfill Your plan for their lives; That those connected to me are allowed to have careers and not just mere jobs. Thank You for the true fulfillment that comes from You, so each of us could live out Your purpose for our individual lives daily. In what we say, in what we do, what we think, at our jobs, with our families, with our friends, and even amongst strangers… let the joy of the Lord shine brightly through us that validates our commit to follow Your WILL for us. I trust you Daddy as I navigate this life. I understand that You will send tests my way, to develop our relationship and mature me spiritually. Allow not only myself, but my friends and family to pass the test, be it through finances, employment, relationships or decisions. I love you GREATLY. Let’s impact the day.
Your Baby,
Kristen

Thank You Dad.... Dear Dad Day 4

Dear Dad,
Today I am overwhelmed by Your word and instruction. You love me enough to give me a life manual, called the Bible, to help me navigate through this world. You have even blessed others with the idea to make this life manual available to me anywhere at anytime. Thank You for the individual or team who decided to use their godly talents and gifts to create a bible app, so I can read Your word on my phone, a virtual bible so I can upload it to any pc or desktop, an audio bible, when I’m too lazy to read or have difficulty understanding some of the words in it. You are awesome. I am soo full of Your lovingkindness, grace, and mercy today, and I choose to worship You for Your goodness and ability to do ALL things, and do them Exceptionally Well. You are the reason I live and breathe. Today is already blessed because You made it, I am already blessed because I am able to experience it, so have Your way in my life today God. Use me, and allow me to greatly impact the world with my choices, words, and actions. You are Holy.

Thank You Dad,
Kristen
Word On The GO:
1Peter 4:10-11
10God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

Dear Dad.....Day 3

Dear Dad/ Day 3
Thank you daddy for all you are doing in my life. Thank you for allowing me to see the boundaries You have placed before me; the limitations for my life that are designed to keep me safe. Help me make the right decisions about who I communicate with today, what I eat, what I say, and where I go. As I seek Your face today, and make a conscious effort to spend quality time with You, please reward me with Your peace, love, and a greater knowledge and understanding of who You are. I love You because you 1st loved me. You have shown me the greatest example of love there is. As I navigate through life, especially as a single woman, I pray that I search for the love of Christ in every individual I come across. Realizing that you set the standard for the type of love I should show others and the same love that should be shown to me, by any person invited into my space. Thank You for being the wonderful blessing of my life.

Sincerely Your Fav,
Kristen

Dear Dad....Day 2

Dear DAD,
I am so happy to be alive today. Use me like only You can, that everything that I do, say, and even think aligns with Your will. I love You with all my heart and I am thankful that You loved me 1st. Allow me to continually pray for my friends and family around me, even my enemies. Allow me to understand that everything happens according to your schedule, and my job is to simply go along with the program, with GREAT JOY. You got my back and You love me like non other. This day is already amazing and I can’t wait to experience every bit of it, in Your fullness.

Realizing 2 Appreciate My Dad....Dear Dad Day 1

DEAR DAD
Growing up without a biological father or father in general in the home, for me was not this devastating experience that negatively shaped my existence, childhood, or present life. As an adult I do notice however, in my youth, the bouts of trying to find myself in useless relationships, sex with useless guys, and so forth that could be used as an excuse to fill a void, which maybe true. However, in comparison to my many friends who grew up with fathers in their home (mostly biological) were doing the same thing as my fatherless self, SO WHAT NOW? This leads me to believe that the presence of a father, or not, does not determine the outcome of a person. Regardless, it is solely up to each individual to make a decision on how they choose to find themselves. The help of Godly parenting is essential in the guiding process, but individuals raised in a single parented home, by a grandparent, both parents, no parents all have the same opportunity as the next to live a life that is meaningful and ever growing towards success, joy, passion, and love. Some journeys are harder than others but that's life! So with this brief introduction I have started Dear Dad, my Life letter to God, my father.

Dear Dad,
I need your help today. Your help that guides my decisions, thoughts, words, and actions. Use me for Your glory today that I may positively impact the world I live in. I realize that it is imperative for me to align my will with Yours so that I can truly experience an outpour of Your glory. I seek You above all things, and while life has a way of trying to steer me as far away from You as possible, I realize that I have the victory, and the power to speak to the circumstances that fight against me; Declaring Your perfect outcome for my life. As I go about my day help me to steer away from profanity, negative words or thoughts, self doubt and pity, questions that doubt Your motives, and people that Amen my foolishness. I speak life over this day; peace, blessings, and life lessons manifested through Your workings, Your miracles, and Your will for my life.
Signed,
Your Daughter Kristen
