Dear Dad,
I have learned in life despite all that goes on around me I
must keep going. I can’t afford to look back, stop, or have a seat, I must keep
going. I can’t listen to those doubtful voices that contradict what You say, I
must tune them out and keep going. If I can’t, I better learn to walk and talk,
praying to You the whole way while I keep going. What good does it do me to
stay upset, worry, or quit, my density is ahead of me, I must keep going. It will also
be a good idea for me to watch those road signs, and if they say “keep going”, well I must keep on going. But
the ones that say “wrong way”, “danger ahead”, without delay I’ll drop my bags
and turn the other way, and keep going. Some
people may laugh and have many negative things to say, with You on my side I
know I can face the day, and still keep going. You have everything already
planned out, as long as I keep going, watching You work and hearing Your voice
gives me fuel to continue the path, and keep going. Today I declare that it’s
too late to turn back now, I know the road I’m on and I know what You have
said, despite all odds and all that is against me, I MUST STILL KEEP GOING!

Word on The Go: Hebrews
12: 1-3
1-3Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who
blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on
with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no
parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race
we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was
headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything
along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of
honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go
over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed
through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
